About The Cotswold PR Company

The Cotswold PR Company is led by Jo Welch, one of the most experienced PR and brand management professionals in the UK, with a career spanning more than 30 years across consumer, B2B, healthcare, and luxury markets.

Jo began her career in London working with some of the country's most prestigious brands — from Fired Earth, Liberty and Lalique to Rigby & Peller and the British Museum Company. She has worked at every level of the industry, from in-house marketing departments and major London agencies to building and leading her own practice, and brings that breadth of perspective to every client relationship.

Her experience is genuinely unusual in its range. She has managed crisis PR for a national supermarket chain, led the rebranding of a 100-year-old heritage business with Price Waterhouse Coopers, generated press coverage worth over £1.6 million in a single year, conceived and launched a major public festival, and served as personal publicist and advisor to high-profile individuals and artists. She has worked with medical and healthcare brands, negotiated major licensing deals, managed international press programmes, and most recently has led the UK commercial launch of a next-generation medical device — overseeing clinical trials, NHS strategy, regulatory compliance, key opinion leader relationships, and route-to-market planning.

Sectors served include healthcare, medical devices, interior design, luxury, hospitality, sport, lifestyle, retail, art, publishing, fashion, music, charity, and events.

Based in Cirencester — the capital of the Cotswolds — The Cotswold PR Company works with clients locally, nationally and internationally, on retainer or for one-off projects. Services include PR strategy, brand management, business development, marketing, social media, copywriting, website copy, event management, press launches, photoshoot styling, and stakeholder relations.

Clients range from independent businesses and private individuals to major charities, luxury brands, and corporate organisations. What they share is an expectation of intelligence, integrity, and results — and that is exactly what we deliver.
